Bonn International Model United Nations/ Simulation Internationale des Nations Unies de Bonn (BIMUN/SINUB) is a bilingual university-level simulation of the United Nations and the European Union. The conference takes place in Germany’s UN city Bonn every year in early December. Since 2002 more than 700 students from over 40 countries have taken part in BIMUN/SINUB.
The Geneva International Model United Nations (GIMUN) is an annual conference where different United Nations committees are simulated. Participants coming from every corner of the world experience one week of tough, but interesting negotiations and debates in the European UN capital in Switzerland.
The Milan International Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations’ various committees, agencies, bodies, specific organs and programmes. Students assume the roles of diplomats of the UN’s Member States within its different bodies. The goal of MILMUN is to let students have an experience with have educational impact both during and after University.
The MUNUSAL is the newest member in the MUN-family and has held its first successful conference this year. A big number of Gi-, Mil- and Zagimuners has pilgrimaged to Salamanca in order to assist the birth of this new MUN and get familiar with the Spanish way of doing MUNs!
In the 2008, the TEIMUN will hold its 21st conference and is therefore older than all the MUNs listed here together. This experience translates directly into a very high quality-level of the main conference and The Hague as official seat of the ICC and other important institutions adds a very special flavour to the experience of participating in the TEIMUN.
