Dinka Dumičić
Born in 1985, Dinka is about to finish her studies at the University of Zagreb, majoring in Accounting. As an exchange student in 2007, she spent a semester studying at the University of Sydney, but only after having sent Lea to GIMUN, which set off the avalanche of diabolic events that led to the foundation of the ZAGIMUN Conference. She is currently doing an internship at the UNDP Office in Zagreb. This year, Dinka will use her accounting super-powers to keep the ZAGIMUN finance and fundraising in order, closely collaborating with the Supervisory Board.

Marija Šutalo was born and raised in the beautiful city of Đakovo. After she finished high school she came to Zagreb where she is studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business. Last year she participated at ZAGIMUN as a secretary of Conference of Disarmament and today she can proudly say that she is a member of the logistics team.

| ZAGINEWS Editor-in-chief |
Iva Šulentić
Born in 1983, she majored in Marketing at the University of Zagreb this year, and she is thrilled about the future. Last year she was amongst the few pioneers in organizing ZAGIMUN. This year she climbed up the ladder, compared to her first MUN appearance in Milan, where she acted as a journalist. After making a quick stop as co-editor for MUNUSAL, she is now Chief Editor of ZAGInews, a multi-faceted journal which will cover all daily happenings in the committees and in ZAGIMUN's social life. A bit of stress and a number of sleepless nights for her, but as she suffers from insomnia, that's all good. Will be a helping hand for the ExCom, whenever and wherever needed so - get out of her way! Loves to talk, move, dance and giggle, can’t stay at one place for too long, loves everything what young people love. And so do her vice-presidentas and sneezing pandas! Rock on!

Simon Walters
Studying for an MA in History at The University of Edinburgh, Simon became a regular participator in MUN events whilst studying at La Universidad de Salamanca for an Erasmus year. Beforehand Simon was heavily involved in all things UN related, and was the founding President of the Edinburgh United Nations Youth and Student Association (EDUNYSA), which organised a series of events, including meetings at the British and Scottish Parliaments to help raise awareness and education among students of Great Britain of global issues.
Outside of the MUN world, Simon works as an English teacher to non-native speakers, and can be occasionally heard on local radio stations.

Kaspar Paur
Born and raised in a little village close to Zurich, he decided in 2006 to exchange cows and farms with the "Jet d'Eau" and "Palais the Nations" and he is now studying International Relations at the University of Geneva. After participating in various Model United Nations around Europe, he decided to dedicate large portions of his free time to the GIMUN (Geneva International MUN) during the last year, where his mandate as President is about to end and the one as President of the EMUNNET (European MUN Network) about to start! He had the pleasure to participate in the first edition of the ZAGIMUN and he is very much looking forward to chair the SC in the second edition!
For Kaspar, the MUN-movement is…neither a drug nor a sect, but once you're in there you get addicted and you'll never leave!

Hassan Yassine
Hassan will be chairing the HRC committee at ZAGIMUN. He is 22 years old, of Lebanese origins, but has lived all his life in the Netherlands. He is a student of the CEMS International Management master programme for which he is currently on exchange at Bocconi until July. He is very interested in MUNs and debating/international relations as a whole. He speaks English, Dutch and Lebanese fluently and is currently learning Italian at intermediate level. His hobbies are football, traveling and learning new things. A good mix of studying hard and partying hard is an essential balance for a student, and this will happen at ZAGIMUN too!

Georgiana Ungureanu
Georgiana is a 23 years old Romanian, currently finishing her third year of Law and also a European Studies graduate (2007). Her interest in the international affairs (especially the European Union) appeared somewhere in high school, but came of age when she decided to study international relations and European studies and, some time later, law. She was also an Erasmus student at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, the turning point in her international life, when she fell in love with this small country and became passionate about simulation games. She caught the MUN virus only in 2007, at the WorldMUN in Geneve; the experience was amazing, since she had no idea what a MUN was and she started from top down. Ever since, she has attended a few other MUNs and simulations, both as a chair and as a delegate. She absolutely loves travelling, the sea and the sun.
I look forward to meeting you all in Zagreb!

Ine Declerck
Born in Belgium and raised around the world, Ine has built up MUN experience for the past five years. She attended several MUNs in Europe and the world, participating as delegate, ambassador and chair (Harvard WorldMUN 2004 & 2005, OxIMUN 2005, GIMUN 2006 & 2007, MILMUN 2006 & 2007, MEF 2007 (Model NATO) and MUNUSAL 2008). She graduated in Law (European and Public International Law) from the Free University of Brussels (Belgium) in July 2007. During the final year of her law studies she studied a semester at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) with the Erasmus exchange program. Since then she has been backpacking around Australia and worked as a lawyer in the field of Belgian corporate and European competition law at the Brussels office of the American law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. She will be flying in from New York, where she is currently studying a Master in Law (LL.M.) International Legal Studies at NYU, to chair the Disarmament and Security Committee together with Matija at ZAGIMUN 2008, which will be her 10th MUN.

Matija Blaće
Matija was born in Zagreb, capital of Croatia, but after three months he moved to Šibenik where he was living for the next 18 years. He then moved back to Zagreb to study at the Faculty of Law, where he is currently third year student. A year and a half ago, he joined debating club In Flagranti. It was like a volcano erupting! Within months, a brave new world opened with unlimited possibilities to travel, meet new people and expand horizons.
He registered for ZAGIMUN 2007 and fell sick, was knocked on the floor and probably won’t be the same ever again. Yes, it was the MUN virus... GIMUN 2008 only made it worse. A powerful speaker concentrating on important things, his ability as a delegate is far outmatched by his capacity for partying which is making him the last man standing on most social events.
Given the general theme of reforming, he is determined to make this ZAGIMUN something extra – it is easy to criticize, but difficult to actually set things right. So get ready for something that will blow you off your feet, get ready for ZAGIMUN 2008!

Flladina Dibra
Born and raised in beautiful Albania, Flladina moved to Switzerland in 2001 to study. After some French lessons and a Bachelor's degree in business administration, she is in her second (and hopefully last) year of the Master of Science in Finance in Geneva. Ironically, Flladina hesitated a long time between international relations studies and financial analysis. She decided to go for the latter and even though she doesn’t regret her final choice, she remains very keen on international matters. Flladina became interested in MUNs while she was trying to find a way to escape a little from the randomness of financial markets. She got her big break in GIMUN 2006 when she applied and was offered the position of WTO chair. She swore this would be her last MUN but she ended up participating as ambassador of Brazil in GIMUN 2007 and was the Fundraising and Finance Coordinator for GIMUN 2008. However, she realized that she missed chairing and that she had never visited Croatia, so she decided to do one more MUN before she is sucked up in the financial world again.
