After the great success of Zagimun 2007 it is a great honour that I present to you Zagimun 2008, the second edition of the Zagreb International Model United Nations. The Executive Committee is currently working tirelessly to ensure that this year's conference will be a unique and unforgettable experience.

Zagimun is a simulation of the United Nations where students from all over the world have the opportunity to represent countries other than their own in one of four simulated committees. As a future member of the international community this provides you with a unique look at the powers and functions, successes and shortcomings of the system you will inherit.

During the week you will engage in debate, negotiate resolutions, and create new friendships. On behalf of the Secretariat and the Executive Committee I invite you to join us this October in the beautiful city of Zagreb.
